Amber Roibu joined the firm in 2022. Mrs. Roibu is a Registered Patent Agent and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is experienced in patent preparation and prosecution, including drafting of provisional and utility applications and preparing responses to Office Actions. Additionally, she conducts patentability investigations and assists in freedom-to-operate and landscape studies for clients.

Mrs. Roibu is skilled in a number of technologies, including mechanical and electromechanical applications, chemical and biochemical applications, medical devices, and other computer, electrical, and mechanical technologies.

Mrs. Roibu’s love for science and innovation led to her attending The City College of New York where she earned her B.E. in Chemical Engineering with double minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Roibu worked in the field of environmental engineering consulting as a chemical engineer in the remediation management and engineering division, advising clients on and completing field work related to compliance with EPA and state-based emission and contamination guidelines. Acting on her love for the field of patent law and intellectual property law as a whole, Mrs. Roibu decided to pursue a law degree at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center to combine her technical expertise with her passion for helping inventors protect their creations. During her time spent at Touro Law Center, Mrs. Roibu served as the President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Managing Editor of the Touro Law Review. Mrs. Roibu earned her J.D. from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center with a concentration in intellectual property law.
